I do sleepy posed newborn sessions at 4-18 days old in my St Charles studio. I do lifestyle sessions (unposed) in your home in the same time frame for an additional travel fee on Mondays only. If you book, your due date goes down in my calendar to hold your *spot*. Once baby is here we plan the actual date. Please note that I schedule newborn sessions on weekday mornings or Sundays at 9 or 10am. I have all my own blankets, hats, wraps, props.
My photography style is posed and very natural and organic. I encourage family and sibling photos at sessions as well (most of my packages include family). I use lots of antique bowls and crates for a vintage/timeless/natural look. I photograph a lot of soft colors, neutral/organic tones to keep the style very cohesive throughout the session. Please let me know if you have accent color preference beforehand in the newborn questionnaire that I send you.

What Now?
Newborn:
The first thing to do is to contact me before the baby is born so that we
can set up a date related to your due date. The reason why it is a tentative date is
because babies like to come on their own schedules.
A full prep guide and questionnaire will be sent before baby arrives. A Questionnaire will be sent to you to plan your newborn session. Now is the time to look at my work for any props/setups you may like to have in your own session!

Once you have delivered the baby you can contact me to schedule the actual newborn session. It’s best to schedule when the baby is between 4 to 18days old. The reason for this is because they still want to sleep a lot and this allows for he or she to be posed easily.

Day of session! We focus on baby first since baby is generally sleepiest when you arrive, unless there are younger siblings involved. Then we shoot families and sibling. Once you arrive you select the prop setups that come with your package, and baby and I do all the hard work. Once baby only photos are complete, we focus on capturing the sweet moment between you and your babe and your new family.

After the session:
Sneak peak sent to your email or posted on our social media 2-3 days before session. 7-14 days after selection, you will receive your soft proofed gallery to make your selection of images that come with packages with option to purchase additional images. Once images have been chosen, fully edited images will be emailed to you within 7-14 days. Generally whole process takes between 7-21 days from date of session to get digital images to you. Delay in choosing images does cause a delay in the return of images, so Pick quick! :)
